Hot hot.

Hot day.

Cordie's vet appointment was Friday. She did very well-didn't soil anything, and got an A for her "report card". She's under 11 pounds (she was originally in the 11 range) but I guessed it was before she really got active with Phoebe (and Figgy). I also fed more kibble to her then than now. Either way, she checked out good.

Rode my bike today, I didn't go up any big hills. I can't ride very fast in weather like this (hot/humid) and what I would've given to have had a hot, Gerard Butler look-alike to have run ahead of me...shirtless...with an ice cream sandwich. Yes.

Bill left at 2 a.m., I didn't hear him leave....he will help me check my tire pressure and (fill) my tires if need be.

I bought Eurostep shoes on Saturday...2 pairs. I don't know if it's a great brand or not...I just know they are comfy. My feet are happy...my credit card is unhappy ($105 for 2 pairs of shoes)....but I am on my feet for almost 7 hours, 5 days a week. I need good shoes. I hate the price of good shoes.

Neighbor left me a Canadian beer and some fresh cut flowers as a "sorry" for having left laundry in the dryer. Bill wasn't bothered, neither was I! I appreciate the kind gesture, and the flowers are so happy and summery! (took some photos)

Cat calls galore today. I don't even want to think about them-so I'm not going to. (head/desk)

  1. $105 for TWO pairs of shoes is a great deal! Seriously. Don't shop in Canada if you think otherwise. LOL.

Glad Cordelia checked out fine and that she was good at the v-e-t.

I have no idea who I'd want to bike up ahead of me, shirtless, with an ice cream sandwich. That would take some thought. Great imagery, though.

  2. I'll take Jeremy Irons, Johnny Depp, and Alan Rickman, too :)

I grew up on Walmart or Payless shoes...family never spent a lot of money on shoes. So to buy shoes in the 50 dollar range is pretty much unheard of. :P
