Hair Challenge

earned a little over $450 dollars! However, that means I am getting a buzz cut. Bring it!

I started working with Cordie and Phoebe with their carrier/car issues. Today (one at a time) I brought them out to the car in their carrier and once inside, opened up the carrier door. That way they could explore some of the car smells. Phoebe even purred a little. Cordie did remarkably well and also let me hold her.

The downside was my bringing Phoebe back inside-I slipped on one of the cement steps and fell-thankfully I fell and had the carrier "plop" down-she wasn't hurt or toppled over, but she did wonder what the heck I was doing. Sore leg. Oh well.

Just hobble along.

A foster person has two grown cats who need a little extra socialization. The calico is hiding, but did come out last night...she's quite spooky. My foster person (I hope) is feeling a little better now that Jemma showed herself. It's hard to get someone to feel comfortable with a situation dealing with an adult feline when she's used to kittens. They are both overweight, too. She has her work cut out for her, but I think she'll do great!

  1. I'm too vain to deliberately get a buzz cut. But you're young and lovely and I'm sure can carry it off. :-)

Besides, it'll save on hair styling charges for a few months. LOL.

Good for you for doing this!

Ouch to slipping, hope your leg heals quickly.

  2. I've always been so concerned about my looks-and my parents put so much emphasis on my hair. It'll be good for me, I think-to get it done :)

Leg is being ok, but stiff. I'll have to see if it'll like working out tomorrow or no :P
