The adoption day

went well! We had one cat adopted (Angel-our resident snaggle-tooth!) and someone who was interested in perhaps adopting or fostering. I'm not sure how serious he was, but I guess we'll find out. I can email him an application after I feel him out a little more.

I'll also touch base with Kate and see how she thought the event went-what she liked/didn't like, etc. and work within her needs.

If anything, it got us out there...it got people into her store-got people there to ask questions if they had any.
Also, getting the cats out into a public environment....some of them were quite nervous. You'll have that...but they need more exposure and handling-get used to events like this.

My  hair challenge is currently at $255! Looks like I may be getting a buzz cut-I guess I'll find out! I have a feeling my dad might donate enough to prevent it, tho.

    Congratulations on a successful event! Very glad Angel found her forever home and hope for more at future events! :-)

    It's always harder to adopt the adult cats. Kittens are so cute people will snap them up...but some will be returned when folks realize what exactly that entails, unfortunately.
